About Mountain State ABA

Our Vision

Mountain State ABA aims to learn from and cater to each individual client and family’s needs in order to achieve an exceptional standard of service.  Mountain State ABA is determined to continually increase effectiveness in defining and communicating goals, successes, and growth opportunities in observable, measurable ways.

The business was started in 2017 because there is a need for applied behavior analysis services and intensive training and supervision of providers of those services in West Virginia.

Owner

Ezra Hall, Ph.D., BCBA-D

Ezra earned his Master of Science (M.S.) degree in 2012 and his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in 2015 from the behavior analysis program area in psychology at West Virginia University (WVU).  Ezra is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral (BCBA-D) with interests in early language development, direct instruction teaching methods, fluency-based programs, training techniques in behavior analysis, and methods of assessing treatment integrity.  Ezra has contributed to published work in Behavioural Processes and the Journal of the Experimental Analysis of Behavior and has presented his research at regional and national conferences for behavior analysis.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Natalie Motto, M.S., BCBA

Natalie earned her Master of Science (M.S.) degree in April 2018 in psychology with a concentration in applied behavior analysis from Perdue University Global. Natalie has worked with Mountain State ABA gaining experience in applied behavior analysis since December 2017 and is currently a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Additionally, Natalie has accrued five years of experience working as a direct-care provider helping individuals with disabilities across age ranges from young children to the elderly.

 

 
 

Office Administrator and Billing Specialist

Kylie Branham

Kylie graduated from Radford University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology in 2019 and a Master’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice in 2022. Kylie coordinates with families, insurance companies, and current employees to ensure successful service delivery with Mountain State ABA. Kylie has experience working with children, teens, and adults in the mental health field since graduating in 2019.  In her free time, she enjoys dabbling in various hobbies including photography, crafting, and reading.

Registered Behavior Technician

Karen Wise

Karen is a registered behavior technician (RBT), who enjoys working one-on-one both in home and at our center providing ABA therapy to children. Karen joined the Mountain State ABA team in December 2018. She is laser focused on the program goals that will help clients to break through communication and behavioral challenges enabling them to reach their full potential.

Kyla Graham

Kyla is a registered behavior technician (RBT) who joined the Mountain State ABA team in June 2020. She is currently working to obtain her bachelor’s degree in psychology. Kyla grew up in Berkeley County and graduated from Hedgesville High School.  Kyla loves being able to work with children and in her free time she enjoys traveling and reading.

Shannon Hornich

Shannon is a registered behavior technician (RBT) who is continuing her education in behavior analysis.  She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology with an Emphasis in Behavioral Analysis and has been with Mountain State ABA since 2019.  She enjoys working with kids and helping them learn the skills they need to be successful in all the areas of their lives. She loves hiking, boating and camping in her free time.

Jazmin Harris

Jazmin graduated magna cum laude in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Rust College in Holly Springs, Mississippi.  Jazmin is currently studying for the MCAT and plans for a career in child psychiatry.  In her spare time, she enjoys listening to K-pop and watching anime.

Mollie McGarvey-Young

Mollie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2008 in Fine Arts from Flagler College, a certificate in American Sign Language in 2004, and a certificate in Law Enforcement in 2009 from Lord Fairfax Community College.  Mollie joined the Mountain State ABA team in 2021 and is now a registered behavior technician (RBT).  Mollie has over fifteen years of experience working with children in various roles in the areas of mental health, education, and recreation counseling.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and going on adventures.

Jessica DeSantis

Jessica earned a bachelor’s degree in Forensic Psychology at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City. She is currently working towards becoming a registered behavior technician (RBT) and is planning to go back to school for Speech Pathology. Jessica has been working for Mountain State ABA since June 2021. Jessica loves working with kids and helping them achieve their goals.  In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, hanging out with family and watching movies.

LaNette Hunter

LaNette earned a bachelor degree in Political Science in 2018 and a Masters in Public Administration in 2020 at Marshall University.  She currently is a registered behavior technician (RBT) and has started classes for a graduate degree in special education from George Mason University (GMU).  Lanette has been working for Mountain State ABA since June of 2022 and her current role is what lead her to the decision to go back to school.  In her down time, LaNette likes to listen to music, watch movies, and curl up with a good book.
